Chris Jacobs answered:
The subdivision you are referring is called Golf Meadows. Currently there are no homes for sale there at that price point. The neighborhood ranges widely in price, but values can be found. I would suggest enlisting the services a Realtor who knows the area and can identify the properties when they become available. ... more

It is legal? There is no binding agreement unless the seller accepts in writting your offer. You could have offered $300,000 but the seller didn't like you, and the next offer was $250,000 but the seller liked the buyer and sign off on the accepted offer.

That property in Inverness on the Pond is definitely available & looking for a buyer. Considering the last sold unit in that subdivision closed for $410K, this is a killer price!
Visit my website & on the front page you can Search For A Home - input Inverness & the min & max price of $350K & it will be the only property that shows up. My website can supply you with the room sizes, tax & association information as well as a great full sized slideshow.
As an agent in Barrington, I'm very familiar with the area & would love to serve you. Please let me know how I can get you moving.
Good Luck! Ivette

Hi Michael,

Yes that is an exceptional deal! I just sold one of those townhomes in August and they are absolutely gorgeous. One half is considered Palatine and the other half is Inverness. So if the name of the town is important to you, make sure if the one you're interested in is in the town you want to be in. I'd be happy to look up the address for you to check.
Also, if you tell me exactly what features the home you want has, I can look up solds that match in the mls, that way you'll have an exact idea of how much you are saving.
