Please be advised the image you are seeing is provided to us from Google images of which we do not have the ability to edit or remove. My recommendation would be to contact Google to request they blur out your photo and home photo. Please feel free to use these steps:

How to get your property blurred:
1. On your Trulia Property Page, click 'View Map'.
2. Click 'Street View'.
3. Click 'Report a problem' found on the bottom right of the photo.
4. Fill out the form.
5. Click Submit.

When you write "property values" do you mean list price, tax value, sale price, or market value as these can and do differ?

Generally speaking all you can find on sites like this will be a map with list prices. If you click on "Search" in the green bar at the top of every Trulia page and enter the zipcode your interested in you'll get the results and can select a map view if this is what you'd like. The llimitations of searching like this is that without any real parameters you end up looking at every listing. I just entered 46567 to see what came up and I saw listings ranging from $69,000 - $11,000,000 and if you're anything like most buyers you're price range isn't quite that broad.

If you're seriously looking to buy a home my suggestion is to spend a little time looking for an experienced buyer broker who can help you. I've attached a link below that will give you an idea of the questions you should be asking and once you've read it, you can click on "Browse" then "Agent Directory" (again in the green bar at the top of Trulia's pages and enter the zipcode of interest and you'll get a list of some of the best agents working in that area. Then speak with some of them till you find someone you're comfortable with and they can create much more specific detailed searches to get you the type of properties you're really interested in seeing.

I've worked the neighborhoods all over Indianapolis and surrounding cities and I've owned several rentals on the near east side of Indy for about 20 years and my renters never been disturbed. I usually lean toward suburban homes when safety is paramount. But there are wonderful neighborhoods in downtown Indy. If you google crime stats in areas like Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Brownsburg, etc, you'll get a good feel for the types of crimes typically reported in each area.

I'd be happy to help you locate and show you specific homes that fit your needs.

Tina, That would depend on the price range you are searching in. The price per sq ft of a large older home in town needing updates at a lower sale price will be significantly less than the same sf ft home in a historic district and well maintained. Same as a newer house with basic builder grade amenities vs the same sf in a newer house with hardwood and corian tops will be significantly different.
