Laqua Manor in San Leandro was more than likely named for a member of the Laqua family …

Laqua Manor off of Williams Street was the tract name for the homes built by local builder Bevilaqua. The developer used part of their name for the tract's name. They also built some homes in Washington Manor, Floresta Gardens, San Lorenzo and Castro Valley.

I believe Laqua Manor is a neighborhood in San Leandro between Davis street and Marina just above Interstate 880.
