Green,

Eastwook Park is just outside the core city planning area, which is the primary focus on crime. I am on the city of High Point's Citizens Advisory Council and would be more than happy to put you in touch with Michelle McNair in the Community & Neighborhood Development department. She should be able to give you some options that your neighborhood might consider to prevent crime. Please contact me through my profile here on Trulia and I can provide you with Michelle's information. Thanks.

Consider asking the question to your local law enforcement's office for possible suggestions.....

Green,

Many neighborhoods and communities have met with success by implementing "crime watch" or "neighborhood watch" programs, that involve residents as resource for suspicious activity within an area.
For more information try Googling "neighborhood watch" program.

Good luck,

Bill
