When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

Dear Katiekbe57:

You can research crime statistics on line via Google and also contact the local police precinct for more info. I am curious as to where you saw that review? Also, how many shootings define "lots"? Some people may think one shooting is a lot while other may not. It is all relative to where you are coming from and your own personal preferences as to what you are or are not willing to tolerate.

Remember, there is more crime in the big city as opposed to the suburbs due to the higher population and more concentrated living. I am sure if you speak to people living in the Clinton Hill area, they will tell you that it is a safe area. There is high demand in Clinton Hill right now, property values there are going up and the prospect of property values continuing to go up the future is very bright!

If you are looking to buy or sell a property in Clinton Hill, please contact me. I would love the opportunity to help you. Either way, good luck!
