There is also the Northeast corridor line in New Brunswick & at Jersey Ave. that go direct to New York without changing trains in Newark. I believe you have to change trains in Newark on the Raritan Valley line to go to New York Penn Station

Not only in Bridgewater, but Somerville has a station on the same line Raritan Valley Line goes as far east as Newark where the Path can take you to the city.

Somerville Station is on th corner of Vietnam Veterans Memorial and South Bridge Street.

Hi there, I'm sending along a link to a very nice piece featured not long ago in the NYTime regarding Branchburg (zip 08876).

An excerpt regarding accessibility:
"Another plus, at least for commuters, is accessibility: there is a train to Newark, a bus line into New York City, and highway access to New York or Philadelphia. Branchburg is equidistant from both, and an easy drive from the technology and pharmaceutical nerve centers in nearby Bridgewater, New Brunswick and Princeton. Johnson & Johnson, Imclone Systems, Hoffman LaRoche, Merck, MetLife and Ortho Pharmaceuticals all have headquarters or large branches within 20 minutes."

The township website is also a great source of info:

If Branchburg works for you, there are some great values and very interesting recent price reductions. I'd be happy to explore those with you if you are interested.

In Bridgewater? Yes there is. It's on Main St, next to the Somerset Patriots Ballpark. Behind the Bridgewater Promenade shopping center.

Adrian,
Google Maps is a great tool for this. Type your address into the Google search bar, then look for directions, and type in train stations.
