Hi Steve, Realtors are the wrong people to ask those questions...
If you are focusing on a certain neighborhood, town, suburb etc. then you can research a lot of that information on the internet, the Realtor you are working with to find your home, will be of help letting you know about the
various websites that provide all kinds of neighborhood information. In particular if you are concerned about safety issues, stop by the local police dept. and get all the questions you have answered there....

To get to know your potential future neighborhood, it is a good idea to drive through it at different times of the day and different days of the week, to get a feel for the neighborhood, how far to schools, how far to shopping and restaurants, parks etc.

Good Luck to you

Great answer : As a Dania resident I agree with your answer 100 %. In addition I think that the idea of checking out a neighborhood at different times of day and night is always wise. Not just for the safety aspect but also to see what the traffic patterns and noixe levels are.

Anna is correct. As a Realtor I cannot comment on if any particular area is safe or not. I can direct you to the local area websites where you can find information. The webiste for The City of Dania Beach is
I am sure they can provide information on the area, and direct you to the local departments that can give you crime statistics, and information that would help you to make a decision.

I can however, provide you with properties for sale in the area. If you want to send me some details about what you are looking for, I would be glad to send you available properties.

If unfamiliar with the area, do visit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. For any safety concerns contact/visit the local police department with all all your questions, hear all there is to hear firshand; real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase, or not, in specific neighborhoods.....
