Why are the homes for sale on North rd in White Plains going for so much less than others in the area?

Asked by Ducksauce, Hastings on Hudson, NY Tue Jan 20, 2009

Homes on North rd appear to be priced around $300K while others in North White Plains are $400K-$500K. Is it just because the homes are smaller, or is there something negative about the neighborhood?

The homes on North Road are smaller and older, many built in the 1930's, small with old world charm like tutors.some have room for expansion, depending on home and land. I grew up in the area and know it well if you want tocontact me

You must love the stuff as much as me. I am reminded as a child growing up in the area of Tung Hoy in Mamaroneck. They really had the best chinese food in the county. As far as the road you inquire about my first question is why do you ask? In real estate you can be lulled into questioning the value of a property only to give another buyer time to notice it as well and bid it up. If you are interested in a formal addressing of the home in question I would be happy to consult with you. My cell number is listed .
