Hi Again Carolyn,
That area of Half Moon Bay is very eclectic with a mix of homes that have sold in the last year from $370k to over $1 million. In 2010 this property came on the market for $1,375,000, stayed on the market for 445 days(!) and has been reduced to $1,145,000. This property has a lot of charm and history but does that make it worth the price?

Always the Best,
Michael

HI Carolyn,
The neighborhood is near Poplar Beach and the Coastal Trail. The Trail is paved and parallels the coastline for about 5.5 miles. It is great for walking or biking and watching incredible sunsets.
Half Moon Bay is still small town America and the kind of community where you can get involved , or not. However, if you choose to, you will see your friends and neighbors around town at the supermarket, or drug store. It is a great community and has a lot to offer especially in beauty!
It is only 10 miles to San Mateo. The SF Airport is less than a half hour drive, the SJ airport and Oak airports about 45 min. drive. There is a quaint downtown with shops and great restaurants.

Hi Carolyn -

This is a lovely home and a chance to own a piece of history as this is the old Ocean Shore Railroad Station. Before this home was on the market it was a vacation rental.

This neighborhood is called Arleta Park/Wavecrest and it is a very nice area of our community. It is located directly down the street from the blufftop Coastal Trail and Poplar Beach. If you are unfamiliar with the Coastal Trail it runs south to past the Ritz Carlton and north to Princeton Harbor.

Furthermore, this home is within walking distance to downtown HMB and close to restaurants and shops.

We are available to arrange an appointment to preview should you want to see this home in person.

Hi Carolyn -

Good morning! Is there a specific neighborhood in Half Moon Bay that you are curious about? As someone who lives and sells real estate here on the Coastside I can say that there is a friendly and welcoming environment here. Our community is small and you do get an opportunity to come across many great locals here.

Is there a particular property of interest to you?

Good luck in your search and should require any further information please do not hesitate to call us.
