Hi Sheri!
The list is endless! So much to do and see. I have lived here for 28 years, and have not even touched 10 % of activities, goings-on, festivals, restaurants, cultural activities etc. I would have to take 10 years off to do so. :-)
These links might help:

Just a few ideas! There are different cultural, art, festivals, etc etc every week!
Plus dining experiences of all types from top French and European cuisine, to health food, to Ethnic!

Hi Christine,

On my website at http://www.esedona.biz, I have the top 49 things to do in Sedona. Besides hiking, we have fabulous restaurants, cultural activities, sunshine 300 + days a year. Every outdoor activity is available. We have 5 star resorts, biking, tennis, and country clubs with some of the best scenery to enjoy while golfing. Don't forget fishing in Oak Creek and the Verde River. Do you enjoy spas? Sedona's resorts and spas rank with the very best in the world.

Using Sedona as a base, you can visit artsy Ghost & Mining Towns (Jerome), the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff etc. One of my favorites; there is no better place to see the night sky in all it's splendor and glory.

I have created Featured Blogs about areas in the Verde Valley (Sedona area) on ActiveRain.

Hello Christine:

Read up many fine questions and answers on trulia.

Check the news, tweak my portfolio, plan on buying rentals properties, study market.

read up on Fiscal cliff, read up what economists say, make music on my ipad, check music on the

web, drop my kids off school, pick then up, check their grades, cook, clean, take care of the home

and rental properties, answers questions of clients, show properties, sell properties, rank in the

top 100, go for walks, plan dinners, pay for kids school, be a mentor, think of growing my stock and

real estate portfolio, think of the many un controllable events that the many will throw at you, read the

articles on Sandy and you besides Hikes?

Are you in Utopia?

Happy Holidays

I hope she's found something in a year and half,
either that or she's gained 40 pounds!

That's the thing. There is NOTHING to do here in Sedona. Normal summer activities one would do (picnics, walks, canoeing, camping, softball games etc) cannot be done here in AZ because the sun is unbearable in the summer. You cant even go for a day of air-cond shopping - there's No decent place to shop unless you want to drive 2 hours to phoenix. Definately the most boring place I have ever lived.

I go swimming in the creeks & rivers, fishing. Even sitting along side the creeks with a good book is very relaxing! Or watching my kids play in the water..even better.

I think we can agree to disagree on the unbearable summer weather. Mornings and evenings are wonderful. It was 61º this morning August 3, 2013. Our LAST DAY of 100º was mid August for the last two years. This info is documented on my husband's website at http://sperryr.com/Sedona_Weather.php . In my opinion, our summers and winters are mild compared to many areas in US and world. We have a weather station in the backyard!

Mountain biking, the best in the world! Sedona is pretty lame for nightlife.
