I was just in this area last week looking at rental homes and the place is fantastic. I would suggest living in St. Johns County and not jacksonville (DUVAL County). Ponte Vedra is very nice but very pricy. Look at Julington Creek Plantation or World Golf Villiage or Nocatee Developments. They are beautiful. Crime is non existent.

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase, or not, in specific neighborhoods.

Hi, You can go to http://www.HomeFair.com and http://www.SpotCrime.com for in-depth crime stats and area demographics, anywhere in the US. Another option would be to call the local police dept.
