There are a few neighbors north of Windcombe that have access to the Monon. Another neighborhood you should look into is Canterbury, it is comparable and is a central location with immediate access to the Monon (I am an advid user of the trail). Please send me your preferable contact information if your interested in exploring additional neighborhoods with access to the Monon. Mariam@mrahmani.com

I love the Monon and live very near to it. I met my husband on it 10 years ago. If you need some help with finding a home in this area, please feel free to contact me. Patty Smith 317-431-8633 or pattysmith@talktotucker.com

You would be less than half a block away and you could access the Monon by cutting through neigbors yards.
If you would like to email me I can send you a map and google location.

Jeff:

There are a couple of ways to get to the Monon from within Windcombe. It's easier to show than describe. Have your agent drive you around the East end of the neighborhood and you'll be able to see the access points.

I will say, though, that as far as I know the access points are not official easements and could be closed off at any time.

Good luck!

Jeff,
I'm not sure if there is access directly from Forest Blvd or not, but Windcombe as a neighborhood does have access to the Monon as far as I know.
