Thelma, all good answers - best recommendation is call three agents and ask them for their advice on making a home purchase and select the one agent that provides the best professional responses and that you feel comfortable working with.

As mentioned before, that agent's fees are paid by the seller. The agent whose sign is one the yard represents the seller and should negotiated on behalf of the seller - so protect yourself with a buyer's agent.

Thanks for asking.

Hi, Thelma,

Here is a list of ALL the available properties in 78239, priced up to $75,000.…

Any REALTOR can help you to purchase a property. Since the Seller's agent pays your REALTOR's fee, there is no benefit to you to call the Listing Agent (the person whose name is on the sign or advertisement). Get your own agent who will represent YOUR interests and not those of the Seller.

Good luck,

Doc Stephens, REALTOR

Any real estate agent can get you that information. You need to find an agent that you feel most comfortable with and let them gather information for you and guide you through the process. It does no cost you anything to get this help.

If I can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me 771-0110 or

Have an awesome day!

One more thing, Thelma. Having your own Realtor costs you nothing, as the seller is generally the one who pays their commission.

Thelma, you don't need to know who is listing the property. Any Realtor can get you the information on the property. Call me with the address and I can look it up for you.

Hi Thelma,
If you let me know the address I can certainly tell you who owns it.

What is better is if you have a Realtor who represents YOUR interests get in touch with the seller or their agent. Having your OWN agent means someone is looking out for you. The only way you know an agent is working on your behalf is if you sign a buyers representation agreement with them. In Texas, by law, all agents represent the SELLER's interests unless you have signed with your own agent.

Call me if you'd like to talk about this. In any case, find a Realtor who you feel comfortable with to help you with your home search, and best of luck!
