As a realtor, we cant really answer this question without violate the fair housing law. We are obligated to tell you to look at the police report in the area and determine whether it is a good area for you.
But I personally live in Addison Circle for many years now and I personally have no issue with it at all.
Overall a great place to live in my opinion. Neat cheap city sponsored athletic club. Lots of people out and about after work, walking dogs, running, walking, etc. Plenty of great restaurants around. Excellent location. Great corporate tax base supports the city services for the residents.
When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local police department with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors.
