The best way to research noise is to go yourself if possible (best option) :) or have a trusted friend (who would know you well enough to know what you consider to be "too much noise" -- as that is VERY different for each individual, depending on where you've been used to living and the noise in that environment :) and get their opinion. Go at rush hour times, if possible, to hear the most "street noise" and check the train schedule and/or ask neighbors about railroad noise if the property is close to a railroad. (I did not see a property address referenced, but this would be applicable to any property you are considering purchasing.)
The best way to research crime is to go to: http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/Content/home.aspx
and put in the street address of the property you are considering. You can also get to the local law enforcement websites from there. That site will have the most current information.
Good luck to you in your property search, and feel free to contact me or visit my website if you have additional questions.
