You'd better ask your lawyer, it's hard to give advice online with such short description of the problem. I can recommend you to read subsections 5-9 of RCW 59.18.150 of the Residential Landlord-Tenant Act. ... more

Give yourself 15-30 days to look around and learn the market before you begin your search in earnest 30 days out. You're looking at a total timeline of between 45-60 days. Rentals in the SL can move quickly so you will need to have your credit in order. Keep in mind that you will likely need to come up a bit for everything you're looking for, likely $2,200. There are 2bd 2ba's in 60616 to be had for around and in some cases under $2,000 but nothing in 60605 at the moment for $2,000. Please feel free to contact me directly. I'm happy to help.
