You likely signed an agreement for service before the beginning of the inspection. In it should be the terms, conditions and extent of liability for the inspector and/or his company. Read the agreement. Unless you have "actual" quantifiable damages, the best you can do may be a small/partial refund of the total price.
On the other hand, you wrote the word "obvious." Since it means "easily seen," it could be the items were not noted for that reason.
Anyway...Be kind when you call and mention your Agent as the person who recommended their service. I'm quite certain they will do a "little" something to make you happy.

Good luck!

Although I moved to Warminster this past summer, I have maintained my home in Huntingdon Valley Lower Moreland Township and strongly recommend the school district. I resided there for twenty-years and raised my two sons who both are now in thier twenties pursuing professional careers. The school district is outstanding and certainly deserving of your consideration. Good luck in your search.

It always depends on what you are exactly looking for, type and style of home, lot size, garage, finished basement etc. etc. so many questions --- in order to find the right property for YOU, you really should work with an experienced Realtor.... Read on and see if that makes sense to you...

But here some quick advice if you are a ready and willing buyer you should work with an experienced Realtor your personal Buyers Agent to assist you from day one to the closing and thereafter, so that you avoid
any potential mistakes or decisions you later regret because you were not fully informed.... read
on and may be it will help you in the future, regrettably I do not work in your area....

I am wondering why you ask this question here at Trulia, if you are an interested and determined
buyer, you definitely should connect with a local Realtor, a buyers Agent, ie a Realtor who will be on
your side, protecting your interests, finding the right property, arrange showings, answer all your
questions, help you right a good offer, get you also pre-approved for a loan, and negotiate on your behalf the very best sale price and terms and if you commit to one trusted Realtor, he or she will commit 100 % to you and his or her services if you make an offer on a property listed by a Realtor/Brokerage in the multiple listing service will be FREE to you, as Buyers Agents are usually
paid by the seller's side, out of the sellers proceeds at the closing table...

Why would you want to do this on your own, when there are so many details to be taken care of the
right way and so many details need to be paid attention to, inspection appraisals, loan commitment, walk thru etc. etc. in order to bring an offer to a fully executed contract and that to successful closing and home purchase.

Give it a second thought and hopefully you will decide to work with a trusted Realtor, who is experienced in your areas of interest. Please commit to only ONE Realtor!! If you need recommendations get back to me I gladly forward you names..

Hi Mr. Fernando,

How are you doing today? Thank you very much for your online inquiry. But there wasn't any specific property address indicated in your question. You’ve requested for some information to be sent over to you, but in order for me to know exactly what you are looking for, I would need a bit more information from you. I guess you just started to look for a home online? If so, I’m just wondering if I may be of any assistance to you. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to let me know and I’ll be more than happy to assist you with it.

In aiding your search for the best suited home for you and your family, can you please provide me with the following information so that I may send you some listings that are of your interest:
1.) What areas are you interested in living in? (e.g. Interested zip codes, such as 19145, 19146, 19147, 19148, 19149, etc.)
2.) What type of homes are you looking for? (e.g. Single Detached, Twin, Town/Row, etc.)
3.) How many bedrooms & bathrooms do you prefer?
4.) Do you require a garage/driveway? Is Street Parking OK for you?
5.) What is your price range for your new home?
6.) Do you currently own a home that you need to sell before buying your next house?
7.) Have you been working with another Real Estate Agent?
8.) Have you selected your method of financing?

Providing the above information will help ensure your home buying experience to be as smooth as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at or call my cell at (267) 918-1880.

Thank you very much for your time and I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon!
