Daniel Fisher answered:
Good evening, Jennifer.
This is an auction house and sometimes "open houses" are simply a time during which an appointment to see inside can be accommodated. You can be certain that this home will not sell for $100,000. It first sold for $600,000 and is taxed based on a $409,300 value. There will be a reserve on the auction. If you dont have $300,000 to start, it is probably a waste. But there are other large homes on the market that are lower priced. If you have a full time agent with a Masters degree in Planning with Finance and over two decades of experience, working for you, you will likely do better in negotiations. I'd be pleased to provide that service. If you appreciate this answer, please give it a thumbs up, or if this was the most helpful answer, please say thanks with a best answer click. ... more

Good afternoon, Ms. Mackins:
A quit claim can be rejected by the grantee and if there is any financing, claims or liens on the property, you might be liable even after the quit claim; you need to talk to an attorney about this. John Siddons & Mike Laine answered:
RLindsey,

This property is up for public auction, meaning the winning bidder would have to pay cash for it. Likely, the winner will be a bank, who will then list the property for sale through the MLS and a Realtor as a normal foreclosure sale.

I work for buyers at no extra cost in a transaction and would love to help you with your home buying process if you don't already have a buyer's agent.

Please e-mail me directly with a bit more information about your real estate needs, as I would love to help you!

14716 Colonial Park Drive is a short sale. It has been on the market long enough that the approvals may come faster than usual. Details are at: http://bit.ly/qqDckO We are very familiar with the short sale process and have succeesfully represented numerous buyers in their purchase of a short sale. When would you like to see inside?

Mike Carpino answered:
I used to live in Wynfield Forest a few years ago and really enjoyed living their. I lived off of Pristine Ct toward the end of the neighborhood. It has always been one of my favorite neighborhoods to show people because of the lanscaped streets and well kept yards. I know that some of the homes are starting to get older but it is still an attractive subdivision in Huntersville.
