I think the best thing you can do would be to call the local Police department and ask them. They would be the ones to know the answer to that question. Flemington is trully a lovely place and bear in mind that Liberty Village is just on the other side of Brown street so you have the ability to walk a short distance for shopping and restaurants. I would say that a commute from East Amwell would be one of the better ones from Hunterdon. You can shoot down route 31 and turn on harbourton road and take that out to 95s and bypass Pennington. Shouldn't take more than 45 min. There is also West Amwell, parts of Raritan twp and Delaware twp that would be good too.
60min seems like a long time but I would that probably depends in where in Philly you are going. I work in and grew up in that market area if you need anymore help don't hesitate to call!
