You would think that if the pharma agencies and companies that actually want NYC talent would figure out a way to get shuttle buses running between Port Authority and stop at many stops in Parsippany. After all these years I am shocked to see that no one has come up with a solution. ... more

Reators are really not allowed to give their opinion on the level of safety in the area because in an effort not to "stir" buyers into or away from specific neighborhoods.

As crime data is readily available from many sources, with easiest being the web or their local police precinct, buyers/tenants are encouraged to research the information on their own.

If I can help in any other way, I'm happy to hep.

You can get the Hoboken Path train at the corner of River and Observer Highway into Manhattan. It is about a 6-15 min Train ride depending on where you get out. It stops at multiple places and typically runs up 6th avenue right in the middle of the city for the most part.

You can take multiple roots from Hoboken to get to the Path. Meaning you can walk (anywhere in Hoboken is approximitaly less than a mile), The bus that runs along washington and also downtown on Willow st comes from Port Authority and runs right down to the Path for a little over a dollar a ride, as well as the "Hoboken HOP" which is a shuttle bus that I hear is about a dollar to get you to the path train.

The path also runs about every 10 mins and goes 24 however after about 12 midnight runs once every half hour or hour or so.

There is an app you can download on the iphone called iTransPath that tells you the train schedule as well. At least this did work I haven't used the app for about a month or so.

Hope this helps!

Hi Ersaller.

Three and half (3-1/2) blocks east down to Avenue E then four (4) blocks south along Avenue E brings you to the 22nd St. Light Rail station. The Light Rail between Bayonne-Jersey City-Hoboken makes stops where you can pick up the PATH, NY Waterway Ferry, and NJ Transit trains (which run out of Hoboken). During the week there is also an express light rail train (Bayonne Flyer) which skips a number of stops in Jersey City during rush hour primarily stopping only at stops where you can pick up the other mentioned public transit options. ... more

The traffic in the peak hours are okay as majority will commute by train to NYC and further in NJ i.e., PATH. Again there are two kind of bus transportation to NYC and interior NJ i.e., NJ Transit and private mini buses.

Hope this answers your interest.

Union city is close to the entrance of the Lincoln tunnel. unless there is an accident they have bus lanes that even during rush hour the commute can be 20 minutes or less.

Then again it all depends where in union city. If you are close to 495 you are good otherwise you need to add another 10-20 minutes to get to the bus. ... more
