I am trying to find local contacts. I would like to expand our cleaning business by doing foreclosed clean outs, any suggestions who to contact.

I own BEFORE & AFTER Cleaning Services. We are advertised in Manta.com, CleaningServicesExpress.com, facebook.com/loadsoffun2011 and more... See our pictures of homes and businesses that we have cleaned. Thank you for your attention in advance and any work you direct our way!!

If you send me a stack of business cards and small flyers (smaller than 8.5X11) I will put them on our community help center in my brokerage office in St. Augustine. This is where agents go to look for services to recommend to their customers when they don't have someone in mind already. Let me know if I can help. Good luck with the business!

Dear Loadsoffun2011,
If you are trying to establish yourself for clean outs of foreclosures, you will have to make application to become an M&M company with the Banks that own the foreclosures or you will have to work through their existing M&M companies as a subcontractor. Many banks own the properties with different banks and companies servicing them, like FNMA, FreddieMac, HUD, Bank of America, Chase, etc. Each one of these have their own procedure for becoming approved to be in their properties. If you are a contractor or subcontract doing work on the property, there has to be a paper trail that shows you are properly insured, meet workman's comp guidelines, a licensed business, etc. Therefore, there are applications that must be filled out, turned in, and approved by these corporations to see if you meet their qualifications. Generally, the Realtors are not in charge of hiring for these services but there are some situations where the Realtor has to pay for certain repairs and maintenance items and then follow a procedure to be reinbursed from the REO company.

Realtors want to do business with affiliates that support their association. I would suggest joining your local board, and or Women's Council of Realtors. Once they know and trust you, I am sure your business will grow.

Thank you for the tip...What boards do you recommend? Do you have any contact information on any of them?
