The US Census can help you by zip codes with many different searches such as incomes, ages, education levels, number of singles, religion and more. Realtors do not keep this information but also suggest looking at the demographics of the local elementary school, often located inside or next to a neighborhood.

Is it very common for people to create their own house plans? I would love to be able to design my own home, I just don't know anything about architecture. I would love to be able to find a company that can help me out with this dream that i have.

Consult your neighbors. They may be able to be helpful. They may also share your concerns and join your cause. Situations of this nature are always best presented as a group concern rather than an individual's.

Good luck,

Of the 8 active listings at this time, only 2 have swimming pools, and one is a one story home.
The two story, however, does have the masterbedroom down.

The links that have been provided here are a great resource, but driving thru the neighborhood at different times of the week and day, can provide a lot of insight as to how the residents keep their yards up, how much traffic there is, what the parking situation is, etc.
It is a great area with Cy-fair schools

When you are looking at homes with your Realtor, a lot of times you can say hey to the neighbor and they love to talk about their neighborhoods...
