The building you are referring to has lots of homeless roaming due to the bus stop in front of the building. Also, is loud due to the bus stop. If you are looking for a safe and quite building you might want to try another building. Thank you and have a great day. ... more

As in any community I would say stick with the crowds and avoid dark alleys at night. There is a lot of night life in Waikiki and people are walking around all hours. As other people have stated, it's best to check out an area in the daytime. On the whole I believe Honolulu is considered fairly "safe" compared to other major cities.

This is a scam. A 4 bedroom in this neighborhood will rent for $3000+. You may be able to get one room for $900.
