It depends upon what is written into the listing agreement!

Most real estate contracts have a period of time in which the agent can get paid after the listing agreement is terminated if the buyer is someone they showed the property to and they have provided you with a list of buyers within a specified time. Other than that they should not be entitled to commission, but you need to get the broker to sign the cancellation agreement.

Your obligation to the Broker would last until your listing period is up.

So, even if you withdraw your home from the market, the Broker would be entitled to a commission if your home sells during the time frame that is stated in your listing agreement.

First, you cannot unilaterally cancel the listing agreement. The broker will need to agree to cancel the listing. Then, as Steve mentioned, your listing agreement will spell out when you owe commission.

That information is spelled out on your listing agreement signed by you at the time you hired your Realtor. Commission is not due unless your agent was able to produce acceptable offer/s or one you may accept from buyers who previewed your house during the term of the listing and as the result of your agent's marketing effort. Please refer to your listing agreement and consult your agent. I am sure he/she will work things out with you for an amicable outcome.

Good luck,
