It sounds as if you are trying to determine the value of your home. May I suggest connecting with three local Realtors to help you in establishing a value for you. If you do knot know of any Realtors please get some referrals from family and friends on the selection of Realtors. Good Luck

If you want to get a good idea of what the homes sold for in your area try http://www.Zillow.com
That will give you a general idea without the help of an agent. You can look at the square feet and other features just to get some sort of idea. Keep in mind to look at when the comparables sold, homes that sold in 2006 are obviously sold for much more and faster than houses today.

Hello Mike:

A Realtor will be very happy to come by and give you a market analysis for you home free of charge; at the same, they can also provide you with advise on how to prepare your house for sale to get top dollars - extremely important in this buyer's market.

If you are also thinking about buying a home, you will really need to contact a Realtor to get everything work out so the timing will be perfect for your goals.

We do this free for our prospective buyers and there is no obligation on your part.

The value of your home can be determined by an experienced real estate professional through in depth research. This research should include past sales, expired listings, current listings, and pending listings. The propety should be compared to like properties, considering square footage, year home was built, location, tax information, and condition of the property. Once that information is gathered then The Absorbtion Rate should be calculated to inform you how long your home should take to sell. Your professional should outline an indepth marketing and follow up plan. Once you decide to list the property you should ask your agent to give you a Written Guarantee that insures that if all conditions of the marketing and follow up plan aren't met then the listing will be released with no expense to you. The value of your home can be determined by a real estate professional by in depth research. t. The information should compare apples to apples. An in depth market analysis should include square footage, age of home, neighborbood, condition of home, tax information, expired listings in your area, current listings as well and most importantly sold listings. You should also look at the Absorbtion Rate of the property. Determine days on market. If you are interested in a no obligation, confidential market analysis I would be happy to provide that information for you at no cost, just go to my website and contact me or call me at 253-861-6805.
