The commission is negotiated with the seller at the time the listing agreement is signed.

Hello Jan,
All commissions are negotiable between you and the real estate firm. It's against anti-trust laws to state any type of "normal" or "standard" commission fee.

I suggest that you interview a few agents to determine who can offer you the best marketing plan and who you feel comfortable working with to get your condo sold. They will discuss their fees with you.

Jan, there is no set fee. It would be up to you, and the agent you choose, to work out a compensation that would benefit all parties involved.
