By competitive - do you mean multiple bids and a "good deal" - an opposite to it? Please clarify. In many areas on the Peninsula you still have multiple bids. Across of the the street you might get a bargain. Just as examples In Sacramento Valley, Sunset District in SF and Daly City you have many "bargains". You have a lot of multiple bidding in Burlingame, San Mateo, Foster City, et.c It is all very location specific and has to be imaticulate to attract buyers. After all inventory is continuously growing.
