I do not understand your question. Are you asking how you list a property for sale on Trulia or the general process ? Odd question though since Trulia shows you as a real estate professional.

If you have a property listed in MLS and it has not syndicated properly to Trulia I would say you would be best helped by reaching out to the Trulia staff via Contact Us. I recently had to do this. Keep in mind it may take some time to reach Trulia - it us not a direct update. However I'd say if after 48-72 hours you don't see it something might be wrong.

good answer I didn't look at the question the way you did.

Kathleen if you are a Realtor just call up Trulia and they will walk you step by step how to upload a listing for sale. Some just do it intuitively.

Good morning, Kathleen:
If you are a home owner and wish to submit your listing to Trulia for sale, please note that Trulia doesn't accept FSBO listing submissions at this time. However if you are working with a full-service or flat-fee listing agent or broker, they can submit your listing to Trulia.

If you are a home owner and wish to submit your listing to Trulia for rent, you will need to indicate that you are a landlord in your Trulia profile in order to submit your listing.

Both submission options can be found at http://www.trulia.com/submit_listings/.

This terminology came from/evolved from the list of properties available for purchase that was posted in the local pub(s) in England.
Today, you can List your own property on For Sale By Owner (FSBO) Sites and magazines.
You can hire a real estate professional who will place your property on "today's pub list" which is called the Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
There is more than one MLS for some areas - like the area I work - Cape Cod.
I would hire a profesional and have them "list" it.

Is this a serious question, really?
You are a licensed agent and you do not know how to list a property?
Do you have MLS?
Do you have a broker or manager in your office, or you are doing this for exposure?

It states that you are an agent, and in checking your status in MLS you own your own office, and have property listed for sale.

So I presume that it is a general question and you are looking for feedback from other agents how they list a property for sale.

Or were you going to place this as a blog and provide more information and direction for potential sellers.

Hi Kathleen,

Are you seeking a broker/agent or will you be doing it yourself?

As Kathleen is a licensed agent, her broker would be best to help her.

Best wishes.

Hello Kathleen,

In order to list your property on the MLS, you will need to contact a licensed real estate broker with an MLS membership. The broker will work with you to draft the text for your listing, take photos, and add the listing to the MLS so that buyers can find it on sites like Redfin, Zillow, etc. They will also help you determine the best price to list your home at in order to get the best sale price.

I hope that helps. Good luck, and feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.

If you are an individual selling your home by owner, you can NOT list the property here on Trulia, on the other hand if the property is listed with a Brokerage/Listing Agent and is on the local multiple listing service listed, then the Broker/Listing Agent can list it here on Trulia.

Hire a licensed real estate agent. It will make the process go much faster, easier, and usually with the best results.

Trulia is an agent only platform at this time. All listings must be listed through a broker.

Hire a qualified real estate agent... You can search for agents right on Zillow! Your agent will take care of the online advertising for you :-)
