The agents are correct we can provide you with the information that is located in the county assessor, however that isn't always accurate. If there were any additions that were not completed then most likely the assessor will not have the accurate square footage. Some of the builders had modifications or additions that were available in certain models and so when they gave the information to the assessor it was in accurate (this is the exception rather than the rule). If you purchased it from the builder and you have the builder information it should be on that. When you purchased the home or if you refinanced your home you had it appraised, the actual square footage will be on that appraisal, they measure the home at that time. You can have an appraiser come out and measure your home also.
