Through the second half of 2008, in the areas that I keep an eye on - south of Buckhead and down to Grant Park, West to GA Tech, East to the edges of greater Decatur - "Intown Atlanta"... those Atlanta housing prices - they look like this though the first half of 2008 and will probably fare worse in the third quarter:
* In addition to slower sales, median sales prices have decreased by 10.1% year-to-date in 2008, compared to 2007
* The median sales price in 1Q 2008 was 10% lower than 1Q 2007, while the 2Q price was -10.7% compared to 2Q 2007
* The overall metro Atlanta median sales price has declined by 7.6% through June, 2008
