Who buys homes in Bristol, CT? People from Bristol or people from other towns?

Asked by Massgal, Massachusetts Thu Dec 4, 2008

I want to know if homes are sold to more people who already live in Bristol or to people who are relocating from other towns. Is there anywhere that I can get data like this??

Anya, I love Bristol and have a home there listed on my Historic Home site along with a feature on the architecture of Federal Hill (see attached link) I think Bristol is a great, affordable place to live.

Hello Anya, Having moved here to Bristol from Middletown back in 2002, and working in this area, many buyers find Bristol homes offer more value for the money compared with similar homes in surrounding towns. Although I do think a lot of Bristol residents stay in town when they move.

Hi Anya,
Here is a link that will take you to a Bristol Town site. On the left is a link for all the demographics. Take a look and let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks,
Amanda

Why would you care where someone is from? Are you trying to figure out where to advertise? If so, the internet is the best place. You listing should be on as many different web sites as possible. Also, not just be on them, but have rich data, lots of great descriptions and LOTS of bright, clear pictures. Is your home listed now, or are you thinking of selling?
If you don't already have it listed with a Realtor, I would love the opportunity to do a CMA on your house and discuss my marketing plan with you. Any good marketing plan has to take into consideration the price point of the house, and the prospective target market. You wouldn't advertise a $200k house the same as a $500k house. They have completely different buyer profiles.
