When selling a house in NY do you have to leave the fridge.?

It is customary to leave the refrigerator; if you don't plan on leaving the appliance make sure your agent and potential buyer(s) are aware beforehand...

I am surprised by the previous asnwer, as in NJ, leaving a refrigerator is totally optional...same with the wisher and dryr.

The only time a fridge will always be left if it is a built-in unit, like a Sub Zero.
