When homes are listed in the MLS as semi detached do they state that on Trulia? Or how are they catagorized?

Asked by Sharon, Lancaster, PA Fri Oct 17, 2008

I have an agent that swears her listing said semi detached before and now says rowhomes\townhomes\condos. Can you please clear this up for me? The property is 1019-Homeland-Drive-Lancaster-PA-17601

Semi-detached dwellings refer to condos or row homes. Or this could refer to duplex, triplex, fourplex. Depends on the project. One consideration is the PUD (Planned Unit Development). This type of project, generally, contains detached homes within a complex. It is similar to a condo project, however, the property includes a small plot of land along with the house. This can be considered semi-detached since it is part of the larger project.
