What a crock: Be prepared to deal with the folks who like FSBOs, mainly those who can not qualify for financing to buy a home.

We have sold 5 houses FSBO, promptly and for top $ based upon the CMA's effected by top realtors seeking listings out front-- NEVER had a problem with a buyer qualifying.

I would recommend that you list with someone that knows what they are doing, a Realtor, and let them handle the sale of one of your most important assets. It is a tricky and complex process that sometimes humbles the pros.

Trulia is not a "Trulia vs. FSBO" site.

Trulia publishes listings from around the country that are represented by real estate agents, from their local MLS. For-Sale-by-Owners do not have the option of listing their properties here on Trulia.

If you are a home owner and wish to submit your listing to Trulia for sale, please note that Trulia does not accept FSBO listing submissions at this time. However if you are working with a full-service or flat-fee listing agent or broker, he or she can submit your listing.

For your home to be marketed on Trulia is must be listed with a licensed real estate professional.

Hello Robert,
If you are a for-sale-by-owner, then you cannot list your home on the Trulia site as they do not allow it. Only properties listed with a real estate firm can post their for sale listings to the site. Trulia does allow rental listings if you are the landlord or property manager.

I suggest posting your home for sale on Zillow.com or Craigslist.com as they do accept FSBO listings and the service is free.

Best wishes!
