make you home look it's best. eliminate/fix, to the extent possible, things that buyers would perceive as a negative.

find an agent you feel comfortable with and have confidence in.

Sandra:
Perhaps you may find it useful to write a blog on the subject. I have never seen anyone before post a question so that they can turn around and provide the answer. A Trulia moderator may find that conduct suspicious and unbecoming. Perhaps you can wait for other agents to answer first and then comment on them. Just a suggestion. :)

........right on and I would add to that "curb appeal". That usually means a maintained path to the entrance with plants well groomed leading to an inviting front door. Paint that door and give it a new hardware that's in style if yours is older. Today the silver or stainless steel look seems to outdo the gold from yesterday. Go for it and GOOD LUCK!

The Seller should follow the Three C's :
1. Clean inside and out
2. Clutter free
3. Color - inviting and neutral colors that appeal to most buyers.
