understood was that communication was very important to me. All communication has been done by me thru either phone or e-mail. I would like to terminate my contract with this company reason being abandonment. I need to know how to go about this and I need it know that there will be no commission to the real estate company.

Tina, I'm sorry to hear that you are having a bad experience with your realtor. Communication is very important through the entire process. I would suggest calling the managing broker directly to express your concerns. I feel certain that they will do everything possible to make sure that your complaints are addressed
and that you get the kind of attention and service that you deserve. If you are still not getting excellent service then you may want to insist that your brokerage agreement is terminated. My company, Coldwell Banker has a "Seller Services Guarantee" which protects sellers. I hope you can get this problem resolved to your satisfaction.

Contact the Manager of your listing Real Estate Agency. Explain the problem and ask them to refer you to another Agent who will satisy your needs. If they can't do this or if the new agent is still lax, demand that they release your listing so that you are free to market the property with someone else. If this doesn't work, go to the local Board of Realtors, then to the State Board.
