The overall market in Birmingham, AL has improved greatly over last year. Sales are up 18-25% over last year. The number of REOs have dropped some 60% over that same time period. That is to say that the number of investors looking to purchase has risen, while the supply of investment homes to purchase has dropped. That's a positive aspect for you if you're wanting to sell. However, the location of your home/what you invested in it/how easy it is to show if rented are important dynamics that also must be considered.
