Buying and selling a home can be complex and frustrating.
Often this complex process is referred to as the 100 wheels on the wagon. Any one failed wheel can bring the process to a halt. Wobbly wheels can complicate and delay the process.
Their is little likelihood your agent misrepresented or lied to you. It is very likely you have selective hearing. Most certainly, you did not ask enough questions to understand what the possible outcomes could be. If you do not ask questions you can not possibly know the truth.
When things are not going right, finding someone to blame is natural.
When things take to long, placing the cause on someone else is natural.
When we realize what we thought was true is not so....it's never the fault of the hearer (we want to believe)
Your agent, if you are respectful in your conversation, will share with you what has happened and what is currently in process. Your agent can share with you what your options are right now and the consequences of those actions. If you do not ask, and instead go to the 'internet' to troll for support, in all likelihood, you are not seeking understanding or solutions, but retribution.
That will not serve you well.
Understand that the solutions are right where you are, not on the internet.
Now is the time to have a honest, respectful and purposeful conversation with your agent, with or without their broker. Communication accomplishes marvelous things. The injection of vitriol, as your statement includes, will accomplish little.
