Looking for a tech-savvy agent in Charlotte, NC

I am a REALTOR in the Phoenix, AZ market and am trying to help my brother-in-law find a good real estate agent in Charlotte, NC. If you are a tech-savvy agent who has a phenomenal marketing plan to get a home sold in addition to someone who can show us true market stats and give a realistic price point - please reply to this question with your website and marketing plan. The home is located on Lake Norman (ideally an agent who specializes in that area but not required).

Tech savvy? How tech savvy are you wanting? I left the IT field after 10 years to become an agent and like all the latest gadgets for marketing as well as personal use. I guess your looking for an agent that can get the house sold as quick as possible.

I grew up in Huntersville (Lake Norman) I have lived here for 20 years and know the area pretty well. I too am now raising my family here.

Brad, My Brokerage is located on Lake Norman in Davidson, NC. I live in Cornelius on the lake and know the entire area very well by land and water. All of my marketing is done through the internet. I have recently started a lake norman blog a little over a month ago. Today I had 15 NEW visitors look at it. My highest total NEW visitors in 1 day, in the last 30 days was 42! You can have the most beautiful website in the world, but if nobody can find it, it's pretty much useless. In addition to my blog I have about 6 other accounts where I advertise. Just as an example, I had a management company up in DC advertise my rental for about 5 months without a showing. I advertised it on craigslist, showed it about 5 times within 2 weeks and had it rented. I worked for a builder called Ryan Homes which are huge in the DC and Charlotte markets where I essentially sold every house that I built to the customer that purchased it. I have experience in staging homes/models. I can also do open houses although lake homes are better to do by apt as many people that come to open houses are just curious.

Most of my content in my blog is for buyers (which is the content which people have been finding my blog from), so essentially about 75% of the people being directed there by search engines are looking for homes or Lake Norman info.

I would love to help. I live in the Lake Norman Area. Denver, NC. Love it, boat and play on Lake Norman regular. As far as technology. I am big on the Internet, most of my marketing expense is for the Internet. I believe that is where most of our buyers come from. We use featured home, showcase , virtual tours and a 24/7 hot line on our signage. It takes more then just one marketing avenue to sell a home. Hello Brad;

I'm Monica, a Realtor as well...

I just read your post and I have a few qualities that you're looking for. First, I am very tech savvy. I am a computer person, use it like a fiend, I believe that the internet is THE wave of the future in real estate sales and information, the potential there is unlimited and as of yet, basically untapped. I know all of the software programs...I use a Blackberry, I am very in to e-mailing and texting with my clients and other agent's as well, if they're so inclined.

Next there's the market stat's...could and would show you TRUE market stat's...in fact I BELIEVE this is the only way to do an honest business...especially in the market we're currently in...

As for a marketing plan...I'm a newerish agent, I know what I have done, what I do...and I'd be happy to go over all of it with you... My MAJOR advantage to this whole plan is, I LIVE and WORK Lake Norman...not to mention --I LOVE it here...so I feel I have a major advantage to others... I also live on the lake. I know the subdivisions, I know the schools --I have children in them, I know the community... I have friends, connections... I see all of this as a huge advantage and I implement ALL of these things in to my individualized marketing plan...

I admire your assisting your brother-in-law in locating a qualified agent...I did the same for my sister out in California...

Good luck in your choice...I must admit there are MANY really good, quality agents in the Charlotte, or even the Lake Norman area...
