I live in San Ramon, CA and I am selling homes as fas as 85 miles away. This is not typical, and these are specialized properties, however, a Realtor that knows how to price and market your home does not have to be local to that city. In Antioch, CA, over 80% of the homes are sold by OUT of AREA Realtors. (According to TrendGraphix.) Here's what to do.....narrow your search down to three Realtors......then Google them by name only. You shoud have a clear picture at that point. Creativity and technology sells homes. Good luck!

Hello Mani,
I feel it is best to work with an agent knows the area well. Many agents may live in a different zip code than where their office is located or may have grown up in a zip code that differs from where they currently live and work. The best way to know if your agent knows the area is to ask them. Pay particular attention to how they justify their knowledge of the area. If you’re ever looking to buy look us up.
