Licenses can be inactive for 2 years after the expiration date of the last license issued. To reinstate your license, your application must be completed by a currently licensed Real Estate Employing Broker.

Good morning Myrafaith,

The first thing I would do is go into the the website for New Jersey Real Estate Commission, search to see if your license is still standing, it maybe inactivce from what I understand for two years. Check to see if it is not expired, if it is not, then interview with a few agencies to see where you feel most comfortable with. Once you decide where you want to place your license they should have all the paperwork to get your license back from the State of New Jersey.
