Unfortunately mistakes on internet sourced web sites are quite common. Information on computer generated websites such as Trulia pull data from many different places. A Real Estate Professional can monitor websites for missing and inaccurate information to have corrections made on line. A Real Estate Professional can assist both sellers and buyers in determining accurate information and true market value based on individual markets and neighborhoods relying on more accurate and up to date data.

You can check another website that lists the pushed MLS data such as RealEstateOpens.com (see the link below for a search of the 55127 zip code) to see if it matches up with what Trulia has.

It is the responsibility of the poster to make sure information is the best that can be provided. In the case of a realtor posting a listing, the information is usually the same as he or she distributes via MLS, a company website or personal website. If you posted it yourself, it is important to be as accurate as possible and check the information for accuracy immediately. If you have realtor representation, then get back to your realtor right now and get the information up to date! Good luck. Liz, 612-986-4105
