Trulia is relatively new, so your agent may not be aware of it. It's also possible that the agent's broker doesn't know either.

Tell your agent that they need to go to the front page, on the bottom left is a link "real estate professionals", click on that, it explains how to "broker load" listings.

Hope that helps. I am sure that if your agent is having challenges the staff at Trulia can assist.

Hello Kerry,

Let me begin by assuming that you are looking for an agent to list your property.

With, as with many other websites that offer real estate services, any agent/brokerage that is keeping up with the times should be able to get you on to it.

With that said, today is my first day really rolling up my sleeves and getting involved on this site!

I would suggest that you see who is selling homes in your area using this site and then set up appointments with several of them from different offices. This tactic really puts you in the driver's seat for finding the right agent.

Also, please note that some incredible agents may not be using this service as of yet. They would probably greatly appreciate you introducing them to this site as it is open to anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort.

Also, if you know an agent anywhere ask them for help in selecting an agent to represent you. As a professional I often interview and narrow down options of agents around the country for friends and clients.

Best of luck!

The homes that are listed on the MLS will carry over onto Trulia, when the agent signs up with Trulia. I just listed a 2/2 golf front home in Jupiter and trulia had emailed me to let me know it was Live on Trulia. After its Live- Additional pictures, text, etc, can be added. Trulia, Zillow and are all sites that I have used to promote properties for sale. All have been great. They all seem to have a decent amount of traffic. My suggestions is to get with a local, experienced Agent who can list your home and assist with the marketing.
Hope This helps. Todd

I would love to take a few minutes to meet with you to see if I and my partner would be able to help you.
If we could meet you and see your property, we could give you the benefit of our experience.
This is a tough market and it takes all of the experience possible to market a home.
Please get back to me if you would like us to give you the benefit of our experience.

Kerry: I'm sure you're aware of JT Brokers Group (on Center Street)--the oldest office in Jupiter. We've been here since the early 1980's, so we're well known by everyone in town. It sounds like you're interested in selling your house yourself (for-sale-by-owner) rather than listing it with a Realtor--where it will be distrubuted throughout the entire Realtor community via the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). A few years ago, that worked fairly well for sellers; but as difficult as the market has been the last two years, you may be doing yourself a disservice. If you'd like to chat about everything going on in the Jupiter real estate market, do call me (746-4848). I'd be glad to share 18-years worth of experience with you.

Great question - you will find that a few of the corporate real estate brokerages have built relationships with Trulia and most of us that are very Internet Savvy have found systems that enable us to promote our clients properties on most of the top real estate websites including Trulia...

I'm a Realtor with The Keyes Co. and all our listings automatically show up in TRULIA, REALTOR.COM and many more websites. I will be happy to market your home here in this site and others. Send me an e-mail if I can be of help.
