I sold a $4500.00 short sale last year and that's what my client paid. I split 50/50 with the Buyer's broker, so yes, each agent earned $3000.00.
If someone out there is willing to work for less, and you think you can trust them from all the way across the pond to be a high level fiduciary, then yes there are plenty of agents who will work for less than $2000.00 commission on a $65K sale.
If I sell all three properties then I need to earn $3000 each, per listing side and I need to offer $3000 to the buyer's agent.
