Of course you can sell it yourself. Get educated on the nuances and do it. But do you really trust that you are the most experienced person to represent yourself? Do you think you know how to market your property effectively to get the best price? I don't specialize in selling commercial so I'm just sticking my nose in here, but I don't think it's a trivial thing. Still, getting educated on the process will help you know if you have hired a good consultant, in either an attorney, or broker. But their years of experience can't be learned that quickly in a book, I would expect.
