Walt, Home Seller in Houston, TX

Can I expect a great 3/2 on a quiet street in Briargrove in the $525k-550k range to sell by March 2008, or?

better yet by January? Frustrated by low # of showings in Nov. and December!

Walt- Have your Realtor check the current competition in the neighborhood and evaluate your house vs the others with a buyer's eye. Briargrove is a great area and if you meet the competition in curb appeal, features, etc, you should do fine. Remember Buyers want a deal, so give them one!

If you want to increase your showings have your realtor prepare a CMA and check your price against the current market. Price will always be large factor in obtaining showings.

Hi Walt, That is a good question. Showings this time of year are traditionally a little more sporadic than in the Spring, but the ones that do occur should be quality showings. i.e. People wanting to move and move soon.

Ask your agent to show you the average days on market for Briargrove and recent sold properties. That may give you a good idea of what you are looking at.

I wish you luck and Happy Holidays!
