Hello Al and Vivian -

Yes, earth tones are very much "in." Would you like for us to run a FREE Comparative Market Analysis of your current home and also run searches for a new home?

We are full-time, award-winning agents and will show you that we will EXCEED YOUR EXPECTATIONS!

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Dianne's right; if you're into the Jonathan Adler thing, chocolate and cyan go pretty well together. It's about a ten-year-old look, however, and blue is not an earth tone nor is it neutral.

I think it depends on whether you are looking to sell you home or are looking for how to decorate your home. I do think there is a different approach for the 2.
If selling yes, neutral... hands down because most can picture living there.
If decorating for you then see what suites you. Earth tones are absolutely in. Chocolate with blue, is striking. Love green but then I always have and you do see quite often. The great thing about paint is, it is the biggest bang for your buck on decorating AND... if you don't like it, change it (not too expensive to do). Paint and then pick up some strong accents colors to make it pop.

Good Luck!!!

Earth tones are great. Go out to the garden and bring some dirt in. That way you can choose the best carpet color for easy maintenance.

Yes, neutral is recommended. I still prefer overdrive myself.

I am hearing a lot of people say pale green is really in style right now as it soothes the soul!
