Alisa Stodda…, Home Buyer in Boston, MA

can I add a picture to my home?

Asked by Alisa Stoddard, Boston, MA Fri Jul 12, 2013

Can I add a photo when I edit my home? It seems like that is only a function for a listed home, is this correct? Thanks

One of the problems with sites on the Net that only sell ads or just collect email addresses to resell, is that the info on their pages is often meant to cause you to provide your email and name for resale.
(see question: http://www.trulia.com/voices/qa/Taunton-Home_Buying-37-36368 )
Getting the info modified is not easy.

I'd spread the word to use actual real estate professionals' sites rather than ones where the correctness of the data is not as important as gathering and selling your name and email to the highest bidders.

Hi Alisa,
trulia displays information on houses that is gathered from third parties and then they display it on the site (often some of the info is incorrect). However, if you house is listed, your agent can create, claim and/or add pictures. I hope this helps. info@wenrealty.com

You can claim your home on Zillow and add pictures.

Correct, only listed homes can have a photo added.
