I am doing an FHA for 3 family owner occupied property but Seller is unwilling to vacate any of the apartments. Can I move to the basement?

You should strongly consider the choice and get in touch with an eviction attorney, if your lender lets you close with this condition. I am curious of the current status of the situation, since some time has pasted, where you able to close on this deal? Give me a call to discuss,

*Confused look*

Seller is not vacating any of the units but is selling the property, they must have a big family... How do they figure someone can occupy the property? I can't see an underwriting agreeing it's feasible for you to live in the basement in the property you just purchased. If it was a legal unit, that's a different story.
