Property taxes in Nevada are paid quarterly, or 4 times per year. If you have a mortgage, it gets paid through your mortgage. If you own your home outright, the county treasurer’s office will send you bills. You have the option of paying by check or credit card, although you’ll pay an additional fee for using plastic.

Property tax is determined by the Assessor's Office that uses their internal formula to determine the assessed value of the land and the structure on the land. Assessed Value is different from Market Value and Appraised Value. If you don't know the definition of these terms, go to, type in the term you want defined, and you will get a clear and easy to understand answer.
